英語語法例句
I．句子
1 語法主要研究句子中詞與詞間的關系。一個句子可以陳述一個事實，如：
We are happy．Lee is learning English．也可提出問題，如：Are you happy？
Is he learning English？也可提出請求或發出命令，如：Let’s learn
English．Be quiet！，也可表示驚嘆情緒，如：How happy we are！How well
she dances！
根據上述4 種作用，句子可以分為1）陳述句、2）疑問句、3）祈使句及4）
感嘆句。
2 在一般情況下，句子由2 部分組成：
主語（某人或某物）＋謂語（做某事或是什么）
The man＋wrote．那人寫作。
The old man sitting there＋is my uncle．坐在那里的老人是我叔叔。
The old man you met＋seems very kind．你碰到的那個老人似乎很善良。
The news＋astonished me．這消息使我吃驚。
The strange news＋greatly astonished me．這條奇特的新聞使我大為吃
驚。
The strange news received last night＋was a rumour．昨天晚上收到的
消息是謠言。
The strange news which we received last night＋proves false．
昨天晚上我們收到的奇怪消息原來是假的。
